Sales Tax
About US State Sales Tax. Items sold on Rodentpro.com may be subject to sales tax. We are required to collect and remit sales tax to every state excluding: Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon. The tax rate applied to your order will be the combined state and local rates of the address where your order is delivered to. Tax is not charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.
How Sales Tax is Calculated. The amount of sales tax charged on your order depends on many factors including the following:
• The identity of the seller
• The type of item purchased
• The time and location of fulfillment
• The shipment or delivery address of your order
RodentPro Sales Tax Exemption Enrollment. Individuals or businesses may qualify to make tax-exempt purchases. RodentPro supports tax-exempt purchases for items sold by RodentPro. The RodentPro Tax Exemption wizard takes you through a self-guided process of enrollment.
Go to the Tax Exemption Wizard.
Make sure that you have all the necessary information for enrollment:
• State in which you wish to enroll
• Entity type of your organization
• Organizations address
• Exemption numbers or exemption form* (if applicable)
We do not accept sales tax permits, articles of incorporation, tax licenses, IRS determination letter (unless required by state law), W9's, or certificate of registrations for enrollment into the program. Your exemption should be active within 1 business day or less after completing the enrollment.
Some state exemptions are only issued by their respective taxing authorities. If you have such an exemption, you'll be asked to upload your certificate for enrollment. Your exemption should be active within 1 business day or less after completing the enrollment.
The document must match the business name or address on the account in order for us to validate and enroll you into the program. Documents uploaded must be dated, signed and list a description of items (if applicable).
Failure to include the aforementioned items above will result in denial of program.
Purchasing from RodentPro. If you choose to list RodentPro as a seller of record on the certificate, we can only exempt you from those purchases.
Partial Exemption. Our program doesn't currently support partial exemptions for enrollment.
