We believe that today’s students are tomorrow’s conservation leaders, dedicated advocates who will protect habitats, care for injured wildlife, and preserve endangered species for future generations.
The RodentPro® Animal Advocate Scholarship is designed to support aspiring professionals in wildlife and animal care fields who are passionate about making a difference. This opportunity is open to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to animal welfare, especially through hands-on experience in wildlife rehabilitation or care.
Any incoming college freshman or current undergraduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA is eligible to apply for this scholarship if they are pursuing a career focused on the care and welfare of animals and have hands-on experience through volunteering or working in wildlife care or rehabilitation.
To apply, please share your perspective on the role animal care and welfare plays in conservation efforts and describe how you plan to contribute to the field. Optional: You may also upload a photo of yourself working with animals or providing care/rehabilitation.

Eligibility Requirements
- Education Level: Incoming college freshman or current undergraduate student
- GPA: 3.0 GPA or higher
- Field of Study: Animal Science, Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Science, Veterinary Technology, Zoology, Herpetology, Wildlife Biology, Poultry Science, Animal Biotechnology, Animal Behavior, Animal Health and Welfare, Companion Animal Science, Wildlife Conservation, or any other discipline directly related to the care and welfare of animals.
Application Instructions
To apply, submit a 400–600-word essay explaining the role of animal care and welfare in conservation efforts and how you envision contributing to the field.
Applicants may also include a photo of themselves providing animal care or rehabilitation.
